My name is Scott, and I've loved Staffordshire Bull Terriers my whole life.

Jed came first. Then Buster. Then Marley. Three dogs who shaped not just our home but the way our family sees the world. Staffies don't half-love you. They give you everything, every single day. And if you've ever owned one, you know exactly what I mean.

So when Jed started struggling with his joints and Buster's skin wouldn't settle no matter what we tried, I did what every devoted Staffy owner does: I started searching for answers. What I found was a market flooded with generic, one-size-fits-all supplements; products built for every dog, which really means products built for no dog in particular. To give Jed proper support, I'd need to stack three or four separate products and hope the combinations made sense. It was confusing, expensive, and honestly, just felt like a very inexact science.

Nobody was building something specifically for Staffies — a breed with unique needs around joint health, skin sensitivity, digestion, anxiety & calmness and immune function. Nobody had sat down and asked: what does this specific dog actually need?

That question became the foundation of Premium Paws.

Because the more I sat with it, the more I realised the problem wasn't just Staffies. Every breed is different. Every breed has its own quirks, its own vulnerabilities, its own version of thriving. And yet the entire pet supplement industry kept treating them like they were all the same animal. Premium Paws exists to change that; one breed at a time, starting with the one closest to our hearts.

We worked with a scientist to develop our flagship product, Staffy Essentials, from the ground up. A single, all-in-one daily supplement formulated specifically for Staffordshire Bull Terriers. No stacking, no guessing. Just one scoop that covers everything that matters for the breed. It's where our vision started, and it's proof that breed-specific nutrition isn't just a nice idea.
